Subject: Technology and Ethical Standard Guidelines

Starting February 20, 2012, we will introduce the following revision in our procedure with regard to technology and the company’s ethical standard guidelines. Technology plays a significant part in how a company presents and supervises ethical standards and guidelines because technology offers management with tools for this purpose. Technology is an exceptional way for the company to follow communication and productivity of the employees. It also allows managers to post ethical standards and guidelines with public access on the Internet and it allows updates to be conveyed easily. Technology plays numerous roles in setting and managing ethical standards and guidelines.

The work atmosphere at a company is shaped by the use of technology in positive and negative ways. When a company uses technology to monitor and manage ethical standards, the work setting feels the pressure and the staff know management is sincere about upholding ethical guidelines. This causes a positive response of hard work and responsibility, but it can also cause uneasiness and disapproval. Productivity and accountability is implicated by technological methods of observing employees. A company principle feels the influence of technology’s role in ethics because it infuses a value of technology at the core of the corporation. The work environment is evaluated by the feelings of the personnel, and technological means of overseeing criteria may threaten some and motivate some. Progressive and appropriate use and exemplification of technology forms the culture and work atmosphere of a company by fostering technology for its advantages and sanctioning for innovation.
