The Bulls win! The bulls win! Them are three words people heard a lot last year, but they heard it a lot more through the 90’s. During the 90’s the Chicago Bulls were dominating the NBA; they were expected to win every time they stepped foot on the court. Most sports analysis considered them to be the best team ever. They were lead by an NBA icon named Michael Jordan. Jordan, who is arguably the greatest basketball player ever, has done many things in his life. He could single handedly win a game for his team, and he changed the way basketball was played.  M.J., one of the many nicknames that were given to him, was doing what he loved to do and was helping people out at the same time. The inspiration that people all over American got by watching him play could compare to the motivation people got while listening to Oprah.  Any kid growing up who liked basketball wanted to be like Mike. Until this day no one is considered as good as Jordan, there are a couple players who are mentioned in the same sentence as him, but they still are not on the level Michael was on. He has left his mark on the NBA forever and will never be forgotten. He even has a statue outside of the United Center, which is the Chicago Bull’s arena. Michael Jordan an American hero, who made an impact as one of the greatest athletes in basketball history persuaded the American culture, economically and socially, while leaving his legacy embedded in history.

History is what made Michael Jordan and his History what makes him the Man he is today. Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 17, 1963; his parents, James and Delores Jordan, moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was still a toddler. Jordan loved to play baseball when he was a child. His love for basketball began when his older brother, Larry, continuously beat him in one-on-one pickup games.
