1. What two ways may you open Windows Explorer?

Press the windows key + E. Also by left clicking start > my computer > right click > explore.

2. What happens when you press the plus (+) key next to MyDocuments?

Expands to show other files directly below it.

It shows the contents of that folder.

Go to tools > Folder options > click View tab > scroll down within the advanced settings > un-check the “Hide extensions” box > click ok.

A path points to a file system location by following the directory tree hierarchy expressed in a string of characters in which path components, separated by a delimiting character, represent each directory.

IE: C:\Documents and Settings\Tom\My Documents\My Music

7. How do you display the path of a folder?

Go to tools > Folder options > click View tab > scroll down within the advanced settings > Check Display the full path in the title bar box and also, if not already checked, check the Display the full path in the address bar box. > press ok > click on a folder > path will then be displayed in title and address bar.
