Abstract

Values are important to every business. It creates a better focus on the vision of the company. This paper will reflect on my belief in values and how they affect the workplace, as well as Kudler foods. The foundation of value has to meet by each individual employee, including the overheard/management.

My Values

Values set standards and positive example both in and out of work. Actions speak louder than words when it comes to values. My accomplishments so far in my business have been because of values. The people around you will notice your behavior and work ethics and some may even want to mimic you, but you will never know.

Long-term friendships are important to me. Your friends are a reflection of you, and share common goals and great minds. We have friends that are like-minded and on the same path as you, as far the pursuit of happiness. Pride in friendship is very important to me, especially for long gevity. We all want to prosper and get ahead in life, and it starts with self respect and education.

In the workplace, self values are just important than ‘work values.’ Values are not tangible but very noticeable. Things such as alleviating stress, creating positive attitudes, knowledge/wisdom, happiness, recognition, and respect are all values that one should have both in and outside the workplace. Values are instilled in us as children and from our environment we grew up to the teachers from school. Both places shape your personality and view on life. Experience allows one to see what you do and don’t like, and what you want to be like and not want to be like. We all want to be successful like our role model. We all look up to someone that was in our position, but made it happen. Studying how they made it is the research we have to conduct for the pursuit of happiness.
