SUBJECT: Questions regarding your web site.

Hey friend,

I personally do not think that Bidder’s Edge did anything wrong. They not only I feel helped them out but I think that they sent eBay more people. I can see how eBay is somewhat mad because the more people go through this site it could possibly take away how many people stop by eBay to do any of their shopping. I think it matters to eBay because they could lose money to the competitor.

Bidder’s Edge indirectly used other ways to get into eBay’s site and allow customers place bids for other customers with competitor prices. Being that eBay is a competitor to Bidder’s Edge and likewise, Bidder’s Edge is in some way taking customers. I think that eBay cares because they will in the end lose customers to other internet businesses that are able to use their site in this way.

Traditional trespass to personal property is, a person enters or remains unlawfully in or upon premises when he is not licensed, invited or privileged to. EBay vs. Bidders Edge is one of the things that I was able to pull up on Bing.com. All over the internet you will find many different definitions to internet trespass. When searching Bing.com I found a ruling on this case where the court found that Bidders Edge was unlawfully interfering with the rights of eBay. There is not really any difference in the two property is property internet or not.

I hope that I was able to give you enough information on eBay and it’s relation to Bidder’s Edge.
