Bedtime Tales

Drama (I Killed Her)
Danica Bombales as daughter
Roseann Bolado as mother
Setting: An old man sitting on a rocking chair, together with his two granddaughters, while watching a movie.
(S.E: rocking chair and the last scene of the movie)
Daughter :( rushes towards a room and saw her mom lying beside them)
Mother :( lying beside the bed) Do you love me, child?
Daughter :( embraces her) Yes, mother….. If only I could get all your pain and agonies
Mother: Then….. if you love me, end my sufferings, kill me… Let me die."
Daughter: But, mother, I promise to give life and not to end it."
(Monologue) God…. She did not deserve the unhappiness. She deserves to be happy.
(runs to her room and came back with a syringe.)
"Mother, forgive me…. God, please understand me….
(injected the syringe , her mother smiled at her before she took her last breath)
"Mother, mother, you must not die….. Don't leave, I love you. It was only a distilled water…..Mother…… Mother……. MOTHER……"
April: (crying) huhuhu. MOM! MOM! MOM!
Hazeline: (annoyed with the crying) (to April) Stop it, will you?
April: (sobs) But…but...
Hazeline: No buts. Your mom is still alive!
Grandpa: (hears the crying and gets up) Why are you crying my dear? (gets an handkerchief and wipe the child’s tears.)
Hazeline: Grandpa, I don’t like the story. (stomps her feet)
Grandpa: (surprised) Hmm, the movie has ended. And time for bed.
Hazeline and April: Wait, Grandpa. We’re not even tired.
Grandpa: Well, how about a bedtime story?
Hazeline and April: Yay!
Grandpa: I'm going to tell you a story now. But as any good storyteller knows, one must first be sure. Is the audience prepared? Is everybody comfortably seated? Does anyone need to use the bathroom?
Are you ready? Here we go.
Hazeline and April: (nods their head)...
