E-bay has become a worldwide e-commerce that is a very popular site amongst private buyers and sellers. E-bay offers individuals or even bigger companies option to buy, sell, or auction off goods. The great thing about E-bay is that anyone can use the site and services offered for which ever use they choose. For instance, there are many different items on the site that I personally buy. As a buyer, you have the option to put a bid into the auction and try to win the auction after the allotted time for the product is exceeded in the auction room. I personally like the “buy it now” products because of the fact that I do not have the patience to follow an auction. Some of them will last weeks at a time. Another thing I look for when purchasing is the shipping costs. They can be outrageous, but if you carefully search you will find many with free shipping. E-bay is also great for people who have items to sell. As a seller you can use local advertisement, but you only touch thousands rather than millions of potential buyers. More than likely you will find someone out of millions to purchase your product rather than thousands. Plus, with the paypal requirements the seller cannot be cheated out of their money. This is great because of the fact that many people have an issue trusting a website with their money or product. E-bay can also be used for bigger companies to get their product out there a little more.
