Expectations of Team Members:

Team Goals:

As a team we will strive to be a team by not only challenging ourselves, but other teammates as well. We will strive to keep our efforts and contributions consistent with that of other teammates. To help facilitate communication and discussions we will allow open feedback during meetings. Also, we will treat every aspect of a project as if it were a corporate setting and hold ourselves to those standards.

Division of Labor:

Full participation is expected from all teammates for their portions of a project which will vary by assignments. For each project, if possible, we will delegate a subject matter expert (SME). The SME will oversee the project and design the core details. The rest of the team will support. During individual assignments we will be willing to help each other where we can when possible. We will use our team to help us review for exams.

Time Management:

At the time of the assignment being handed to our team we will choose a project leader/SME. The project lead/SME will decide frequency of team meetings at the beginning. He or She will be in charge of keeping the team motivated and making sure the deliverables and deadlines are clear. In general we will advance the final project deadline by one week to account for unforeseeable issues.

Communication:

We will communicate with each other through various means. Email, text, and phone calls will be most frequently used with video conferencing kept for more intimate meetings (Google plus, Google hangout). The meetings will be held at the discretion of the project lead. Attendance is required at a majority of meetings, but for those who have already notified the project lead of his or her absence. All meetings will have an agenda which will be presented at the beginning and a person assigned to take down minutes (chosen at the beginning of the meetings).
