“What is the purpose of an interview, and why do we interview people?” Interview is the most effective way of collection information about people and their backgrounds. Interviews provide in-depth information about a particular research issue or question because it is not quantifiable. Interview is often described as a qualitative research technique where, quantitative research methods bring together a small amount of information from many subjects. Interviewing is the fact-finding technique, which most widely used for finding information. It is the one that requires the most skill because interview is a planned meeting, which interviewer has to find information from another person.
