Is there hope for the next generation? Despite the fact that Florida is ranked 41st in educational spending per student and ranks 32nd in teacher’s salary, the public education system is still not meeting the public’s expectations. Even though you cannot force a child to learn, Parents in Florida continue to complaint about the education that their children are receiving. Do we blame the teachers for the students failing grades, or do we blame the students? Education in Florida is scary; it is even scarier when no one knows where we will go from here. Florida has tried everything, from reducing electives to reducing budgets; nothing has pulled up the grades of the students or decreases the dropout rates. Florida Education News says the State of Florida ranks 32nd in teacher’s salary. This simply shows how much Florida is willing to pay the teachers of today who prepare how children for tomorrow. The State of Florida also ranks 42nd in spending per student. This shows how often the state invests in new books or any materials for the students individually. If we don’t even know where our educational expenses are going in the first place, why would Florida possibly want to reduce expenses?

This is a bad look on Florida’s education system. This makes the inhabitants of the state reflect on how the Board of Education in the State of Florida spends the states funds. We know that Florida is one of the lowest paying and poorest states in the United States.
