Three Sons Poem

In Stanza 1, the persona conveys her feelings when her sons were born. She found it as a memorable moment which brought a lot of good things into her life until she assumed her sons as a miracle in her life. The persona tried to show her greatfulness to her Creators who gave her a blissful life filled with three sons which is the great treasures that she ever has in her life.

In stanza 2, the persona gave a description of her hope to her sons and the beauty of her life with the three sons. Her sons gave her a big strength to survive in her daily life throughout all the challenge that she has to solve. Her sons are the reasons for her survival through the pain and weakness. Whenever she fell down and the world tried to betray her, she knows that her sons will always be with her to continue the journey of life. With an instinct of a mother, the persona prayed to God wishing that throughout her sons’ life they will lead a blissful life, protected from the bad things and someday they will able to be someone who can help others. The persona also hoped that the others will treat them well.

In stanza 3, the persona highlighted a simple message to her sons. Despite all of the things that she hoped from her sons she did not forget to mention that they have to be a good and grateful servant of the Almighty.
