From first Milestone to the second, with the technology and generation X folks that we have today. Our society has gone in a direction that no one ever thought it would move this fast. What we are learning about all this is we have to keep up with technology society and the future of our technology to come.

What one of the things our society has gone to is the internet or to social networking, which has taking off like a sky rocket. The site reached 150 million users in only five years, a fast growth rate by any measure of any company. Facebook Company has more than 1,700 employees and rising sales expected to hit $2 billion this year. So, what is accepted to come from them and what can they do to improve the future of technology.

Going forward, delivery of project management software as a software service (SaaS) will make this technology accessible to more organizations, especially smaller ones. Open source versions of project management software such as Project Workbench and Open Project will further reduce the total cost of ownership and attract new users. Thanks to the popularity of social media such as Facebook and Twitter, project management software is also likely to become more flexible, collaborative, and user-friendly. (Pearson, 2010)

Facebook, which has taken close to $600 million in financing, makes its money from advertising, including an auction system in which marketers can pay to target small products and services to certain,2009) demographics. The private company does not disclose its revenue. (David Sarno, 2009)

By looking at what Facebook has done in a short time, there are a lot of companies out there that has twice the overhead and twice the employees. What makes Facebook so special in what they did? They took the market and figure out a way to strive for the future. There is no other company that is worldwide like Facebook, of course in social networking.
