BUSINESS PROPOSAL FOR H-SUBS

My goal is to put together a business plan for a restaurant, at Howard University hospital in Washington dc that will offer and provide healthy choice sandwiches and meals to patients, visitors and staff. We will target those on restricted diet regiment. This concept was born out of my experience working at Howard university hospital as an x-ray tech and having been a patient at St. Agnes hospital in Baltimore. The name will be H-Subs. H being for healthy. Our menu will be diverse, freshly and conveniently delivered directly to patients. This will not replace their normal hospital food delivery. It will go a long way to satisfy the patient’s right to choice of healthy appetizing food instead of horrible hospital food - like I did experience first hand as a patient at St. Agnes hospital. We intend to create franchises and branch out gradually throughout the Washington dc metro areas. First we will lease one of Howard’s store fronts, as our take off franchise store to service the whole campus. As a prototype store we will implement strategies to offer healthy choice menu to patients, their visitor’s at this university hospital campus and its environs. Simultaneously we will be reducing service cost, maintaining standard production levels and assiduously pursuing more revenue for the H-Subs. We will present a deliciously healthy meal.

  With a very diverse ethnic group such as Howard university hospital it is imperative to have a strong and healthy brand in place. The campus, the hospital and its environs are like a united nations, with people from various ethnic backgrounds. This is where H-Sub comes in to play. Customers desire the highest quality product, service, freshness, and appropriate food safety procedures. To increase revenue a diverse menu will be made available.
