Hr Individual Reflection Report

Introduction

Dewey(1933) first described reflection in terms of "thinking about thinking ".In my understand, reflection is thinking about thinking. This report I have used the “Gibbs (1988) model of reflection” in order to explain my problems which meet my daily work and the effect of learning gained during my MBA to resolve these problems. This report will consist of personal effectiveness and managerial effectiveness. Furthermore, it will present my career development plan and help me improve my chose skills in the next 2 years.

Personal effectiveness

I have faced a lot of problems in managing my time. I realized that I do not have sufficient time it may be more a case that I have failed to organize them or work properly. For example, before joining MBA I was doing my meetings with my clients and customers and have a very busy schedule, time is always against me. Each meeting followed by other meeting and most of the time meeting time is extended so that I have to delay the other meeting,sometimes my customer do not happy and think that I cannot be trusted so that it effect my business.

I was really worried and I become angry and have no idea how to manage it. It was really bad experience as I was losing my customers due to the time management.

This time management problem continued till I have joined MBA. In ALE this issue came in front of me automatically that what is wrong in managing my time.

In ALE, first time I realize that time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase efficiency or productivity. In ALE my team and myself done some exercise due to not planning properly, For example, in the first exercise we did not finish the task due to run out of time and did not have good planning.
