During the passage of human events, numerous groups have fought for recognition. African American and women have fought for equal rights, elderly fought for better health care, and employees strived for mergers, better wages and reimbursement. Likewise, there are crowds fighting for mere social acceptance. Homosexual couples are two people of the same gender who love each other magnanimously. The increased visibility conveyed significant social changes and enabled gays and lesbians to live and love more openly than they ever had previously. However, homosexuals have an extensive variety of issues looking at them directly in the face. There are distresses of religious views, family acceptance, job and school related problems and it may possibly even become an intimidating threat to their lives. In my opinion, homosexuality should not be accepted because same sex marriage is against the law of nature and marriage is a commitment made purely between man and woman. Hence, why do homosexuals think that they can be as one entity in the sacred bond of marriage?
Homosexuality makes people unsafe. Relationship instability and unhealthy sexual behaviors among homosexual couples typically characterizes homosexual relationships. It increases the incidence of serious and incurable sexual transmitted diseases. There are also high possibilities of contracting psychiatric illnesses, and high-risk behavior associated with both male and female homosexuality which includes drug and alcohol abuse. Substance abuse is a serious concern as drug and alcohol use is linked to high risks sexual behaviors such as multiple partners and unprotected and unhealthy sex that is going against nature and how our bodies were made. Mental disorders such as depressions are commonly caused due to anti-homosexual attitudes and behaviors by the society. These disorders will lead to reckless sexual behavior, even among those who are most likely to understand the deadly risks.
