I understand and agree with the information that this article has informed me. Everyone’s way of learning is different. Some students may find doing work online easy but a few others find it to be quit difficult. Certain students can grasp information taking online classes; other students need someone to standing in front of them and teach them the information. Being able to sit at home and doing work online is more comfortable than going to a classroom full of students. If I was attending a school on campus I wouldn’t want to ask a question out loud in front of a class but taking online classes gives me the opportunity to send my teacher or classmate’s messages if I need help. The students that are also taking this class with me can post their work and if I need help with anything I can look at their work and get an idea of how to do it. Older aged people going to school online find working with technology to be hard but the younger generation of people find it to be easy. The article tells about many things such as literature, the debate on online participation, improved learning, community of learners just to name a few. I agree with 100% of the information that the authors has stated. The author’s purpose of writing this article is to inform people that going to school online may be easy for some and difficult for others. No matter if you going to school online or attending an actual campus you still have to put in the same effort. You have to be able to focus on your work and understand that all work has to be turned in on time. This article helped me to grasp a lot of information that I wasn’t aware of when it came down to attending classes online verses attending a campus. Before reading this article I didn’t have much knowledge about the positives and negatives that going to school online and going to school on campus can cause.
