Distance Learning II By Axia College of University of Phoenix I sat here and made a chart of things that were similar and different between distance learning feedback and face-to-face feedback and I could not believe how much I kept typing. It seems there is more of both than what I thought there was. Things similar, when a student wants feedback on something they have done they will still get feedback. No matter what the question is. Feedback is still open and honest. The whole class can still give feedback. The teacher can still be involved when needed. Things different, when giving distant learning feedback you cannot see the persons face. This makes it harder for them to understand what you are trying to explain to them. With face-to-face feedback, you are able to point right at the paper you are talking about and show them what you mean. With distant learning, you are not able to do this. Face-to-face feedback only takes a matter of minutes while distant learning feedback takes time. I think there are good points and bad points to both distance learning feedback and face-to-face feedback. I myself have always found it hard to give face-to-face feedback and to receive face-to-face feedback. Therefore, the distance learning feedback works a lot better for me. I have found it a lot easier to take the feedback and use it for what it hasneeded for and not get upset. I have also been able to give feedback without feeling bad. No matter if, it has been good or bad feedback I have been able to cope with it.
