Wellness Journal Essay

One of the things that I would like to improve in myself is my eating habits. When I receive my wellness journal I knew that I need to improve my eating habits because I was eating a lot of junk food. Another thing that I would like to begin it’s to exercise. When I began writing in my journal I notice that I was improving i was still eating out but I was changing things like instead of soda I was drinking water. I was changing the French fries for fruits. One of the reasons why I’m doing this is because my grandma was diabetics and I had gestational diabetic when I was pregnant. They explained that if I dirint change the way I was eating and not excessing that I may end up having diabetics in five years that’s why sometimes I get worried and I tried but I always failed I want to do this for me and my little girls and teach them to eat healthy not how I was eating before.

I’m attending to do this by not eating out instead I cook. I was having a hamburger for lunch almost every day but a began to make changes it’s not hard you just have to set your goal I did it I end up having a sandwich and instead of the French fries I was eating fruits. I don’t drink a lot of soda so it wasn’t a big change to brink water. Also i begin taking my lunch and not buying food anymore. That was a big change and it saving me money. All this experience its going in a positive way. I notice that I was losing weight I never toad that by changing little things would make a difference. A negative it’s that I wasn’t able to exercise I really want to do it but I just dirin’t have time.

When I want to reach my goals I know that I can do it. Know that I may this change I feel energetic I’m able to play with my daughters and not feel tired all the time. I hope that I can make this change forever and not just for this journal. I learned that when you really want something you have the power to do it.
