INTRODUCTION

AirAsia was established in 1993 and began operation on 18 November 1996 . It was originally founded by a government owned conglomerate, DRB- Hicom. On this moment AirAsia is full of debt.

On 2 December 2001, Tony Fernandes purchased this airline from DRB-Hicom. After Tony Fernandes took Air Asia, AirAsia become more popular and have a profit. AirAsia never look back after that, and go on to get more profit. Tony Fernandes only took one year to pay all the debt of AirAsia. Tony Fernandes turn around, producing a profit ang launching new routes from its hub on Kuala Lumpur, undercutting former monopoly operator Malaysia Airlines with promotional fees as low as MYR 1 (USD 0.27)

The main hub for AirAsia is at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. AirAsia have 3 secondary hub which is at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Penang International Airport, and Kuching International Airport.

AirAsia is a Malaysian based low-cost airline. AirAsia is Asia’s largest low fare, no-frills airline and o pioneer of low-cost travel in Asia. This means no frequent flyer miles or airport lounge in exchange for lower fares. Guest has the choice of paying for in-flight meals, snack, and drinks. AirAsia group operates scheduled domestic and international flight.

AirAsia provide totally different type of service other than the other two air line service in Malaysia. Their service will give more advantage to all people, because their vision is “Now Everyone Can Fly” and their mission is to provide “Affordable Airfare”. More than million people will get and use this beneficial when they choose AirAsia.
