HHS Mandate

I can personally see where the catholic institutions are coming from not wanting to par for healthcare that promotes something that they don’t believe in. At first I thought that the people that the catholic institutions would be covering were just going to be priests, nuns, religion teachers, etc. But then I realized that there are other people that don’t necessarily follow the Catholic faith as strong as the others that the diocese will have to pay healthcare for. When that comes into play then there could be a lot more scenarios where contraception could possibly be used by people who fall under the diocese’s health coverage plan. I do not think that they should have to pay for health coverage for contraception when the Catholic Church believes that contraception is completely wrong therefore nobody, not even including the state, can force them into doing so. There is not one person out there that agrees with every single thing that another person believes in. This means that even if the Church won’t pay for contraception it doesn’t mean those people won’t use it anyways and pay for it themselves. It is better to be protected...
