Introduction:

Nowadays, using the renewable and green resources is very hot topic all over the world. People are more concerned about the sustainability of natural resources than before, because the scarcity of the natural resources are starting to influence people’s daily lives. The raising price of the gasoline and natural gas is a big pressure for people’ budgets. For some years ago, the sustainability of natural resources is concerned by governments and other organizations. But now it draws more attentions from the public.

The environmental issue is another thing should be concerned. The global warming is not new for us anymore. People believe that the global warming problems caused by burning fossil fuels. These fossil fuels include coal, gasoline and natural gas. The emission made by these fossil fuels will be bad for the environment. It would cause some environmental problems like global warming and acid rain.

Therefore the renewable and green natural resources draw more attention than ever before. The renewable and green natural resources include the solar energy, wind power, and geothermal energy. These energies are renewable and friendly to the environment. But the stabilization and high cost are problems for using these energies.

This paper will talk about economic potential and sustainability of wind energy production by wind farm. There are some things should be considered to do the analysis. For example, the intermittency of wind resources affects the wind power, the minimum cost problems.

Theory:

The intermittency of wind resource is very important to start a wind farm. The wind farms are more unstable to generate electivity than the traditional ways. The electricity, as a kind of power, is very important for the industry and people’s daily lives. It seems that everything will depend on electricity. Therefore stabilized supply of electricity is very necessary. However, the first problem the wind farm met is how to stable the supply of...
