San Francisco, CA

San Francisco has been one of my favorite vacations since I was a youngin’. I love every single detail about this amazing historic location. After being there multiple times, it still doesn’t get old. There are a few spots that we explore every visit, such as the ocean, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. If you want to go on an amazing vacation, put San Francisco on top of your list.

The ocean is our first stop. Upon arriving at the beach, you inhale the odors of the shore which has splashed the shells and other sea creatures the night before. It’s a bit chilly in San Francisco along with a little wind that blows through your hair as you sink your feet into the wet, grainy sand. Yet it’s a smart idea to wear water shoes because of the splintered sea shells and also the washed up jelly fish. If you step on a squishy jelly fish, then your vacation might not be too fun for the next few days. As for the sea glass and other amazing looking sea shells; if you want to collect them, you have to go right at dawn to beat all of the other morning sea shell explorers. Beware of the hungry Seagulls that fly around everywhere looking for a few crumbs to complete their meals. They will bug the hell out of you trying to mooch some food. Starring into the ocean, the waves crash against the shore which sounds like thunder. There are always some surfers that are trying to catch the biggest waves of the day along with the daily fishers that line up on the docks.

After a long day at the beautiful ocean, we usually mix the mood of wonderful, to the mood of wonders by going on an Alcatraz tour. If you’re not sure what Alcatraz is, it was a jail that is completely surrounded by deep, rough water and was used for the most dangerous people in America.
