With this lab we are going to be able to find how equilibrium plays a big part in finding the force of gravity and torque. With having a balance equilibrim and being able to find the correct radius and length from the measurement the rotation is easier to measure. So with us using these clamps and meter stick we will be able to find the torque of the axis of rotation.

Well with the start of this lab we use 3 clamps a meter stick and a balace board. We measure all the clamps and meter stick and then we also have to use weights for various different measurements and then and unknown weight of our choice for the trial. In this instance we used a key and with using the key we had to use a balance beam to get the weight of the key so we could factor it in with the formula we were using to find the force that is exerted from the experiment. We did multiple trials for this with different weights. First we had to find center of gravity with no weights on the clamps but just the single clamp in the middle then we had two more clamps to find the equilibrium weight with 3 clamps. Then we had weight on one side of the meter stick and then try to find the eqilibirm weight then we had another weight on the other side to find the equilibrim weight with weight on both sides. With all this measuring we will be able to get enough information to figure out the correct amont force exerted for equilibrium

With all these experiments we were able to conclude that with different kinds of weights different forces can be exerted but depending on the steady measurements of the length and radius. Then also we learned how important and specific information is to find the equilibrium.
