I honestly do not think that as humans we face the same challenges with natural selection because we have the ability to change things that could possible be a threat to us where as, most animals cannot as they lack the intellegence and enginuity to make such changes or deal with possible threats, for examples if a virus broke out that started to kill out the human race we are advanced enough to attempt to find where it started, how it works, and what we can do to stop it where as animals cannot, and the only thing that would possibly kill out the human race is the stoping of mitosis for the whole planet and even if that happens there is a chance that science may be advanced to such a point where we can even solve this kind of problem.

A example of convergant evolution would be the cactus and milkwood plants both of which belong to different groups but have evovled and adapted to there desert enviorments.

Next we have divergant evolution and a good examples of this would be the the Horse and Zebra and the ancestor they have evolved from the Hyracotherium and they have also evolved from animals in the same family as themselves gain unique traits.

A example of adaptive radiation evolution would be the silverwood bird family and the several species that evolved from it which include liwi, apana, and palila all of which has unique beak shapes and dietary habits.

Finally there is CO evolution and the example for this would be the evolution of the cheetah and gazelle’s of africa in which the gazelles evolved to match the cheetahs increase in speed, there running patterns also evolved to make them more illusive which increased the speed of the cheetah even more.
