Background

This section should be half a page to one page in length. The background should briefly describe what you do for a living and how leadership impacts your job or life in general. You also may want to briefly discuss the predominant style of leadership you are currently exposed to in your job.

Personal Assessment

Subjective Assessment

This section should be from two to three pages in length. Here you should discuss several leadership styles or theories covered in the text and lecture notes. Compare and contrast them and describe what one or ones would best fit your personality and help you to be a better manager in your current job. Link this to the information, data, scores you have learned from the self assessment exercises to describe your leadership style. You may want to tie in and discuss your performance evaluations and how they may provide subjective information about your leadership.

Objective Assessment

This section should be from two to three pages in length. Here you should provide and discuss an objective view of your leadership style and abilities. Discuss strengths, weaknesses, personal experiences and what you can learn from them. You should reference leadership articles that support your self assessment.

Analysis of Assessments

This section should be from one to two pages in length. Here you should analyze the results of these the subjective and objective assessments and develop information to improve your leadership skills. You may want to discuss any differences and similarities between the two assessments, what you can learn from them and how you can take what you learn and apply it to becoming a more effective leader.

This section should be from one to two pages in length. Here you should discuss how you will apply the knowledge you have gained from your study of leadership and you self...
