Omega Health Foundation Paper
By analyzing the financial information from Omega Health Foundation for the years of 2008 and 2009, this evaluation will determine the various strengths and weaknesses of the financial position based on the net income and cash flow of the foundation and use this information to further evaluate the influential changes on assets and liabilities. Through this process of evaluation, certain strengths and weaknesses will be identified and used to make recommendations to decisively strengthen Omega’s financial position.
Principles of Finance for Omega Health Foundation
The principles of finance guide us in our ability to determine how people act, how those actions convey certain bits of information, the ability to use that information to make key observations, and the value of those observations to create options for improvement (Emery, 2007). Omega Health Foundation is a complex business organization with non-profit and for-profit segments. This organizational structure includes two hospitals, Omega and Able Memorial, plus a number of related medical-service providers as shown, below, in the organizational structure (Cleverly, 2007).
