The writing process I have used in the past is similar to what I have read in this class. In the past I would pre-write my papers using the brainstorming method. Additionally, I would use the listing method when necessary. Although I have known about the other methods I choose these two methods because they benefit me the most. Furthermore, I have made a thesis statement for almost every paper in the past. On the other hand outlining has never been a part of my writing experience. I would organize the information as I write the paper. For instance I would read and reread the paper and move sentences or paragraphs around until it sounds right.

The easiest step in writing for me is prewriting. Prewriting allows me to write what I am thinking without having to make corrections. However, drafting and editing are the most difficult processes in the writing process because I have to conduct research on the topic, as well as document the sources. The research is not so bad, but I have a hard time documenting the sources. I get confused about how to document the sources at times because they are not presented the same in the material provided. After I have read a paper two or three time it the grammar and punctuation appear to be alright, but is usually is not alright. In order for me to overcome these obstacles and become a better writer I need to keep writing and pay particular
