The decision of a private company to grow and expand is an opportunity that most owners are striving for. Making the decision that will be best for the company can affect how, when and where the operations take place. Looking into the opportunities of expansion can happen by the company going public with IPO’s, acquiring another organization within the same industry, or merging with another company. Each option has strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for the business in itself.

Team D will be presenting the changes that can occur when the Kudler Fine Foods Company is striving to expand in the various methods. By looking into the options and the affects gives an insight into how other businesses can be affected in the future. Each option has advantages and disadvantages that have to be considered before making a major decision that will not only have an influence on the operation of the business bit also its employees, the public and the outcome of the business.

Kudler Fine Foods founder Kathy Kudler is looking for the best solution for expanding her corporation that will be the best for all concerned. Kudler wants to keep the upscale specialty food store at the top of chart while continuing with high quality service of specialty items while allowing the company to expand into other regions. Kudler must consider all options before making a decision based on being an existing successful business.

Kudler Fine Foods is currently faced with a critical decision regarding its future. The three options open to Kudler all have their individual strengths.
