This is my third time going to the Museum of Modern Art and since my first time, I still have never left with disappointment. There is something new and more interesting and I am always in amazement. One might say that he or she does not understand some of the art work, but I guarantee that everyone will find something that will relate to him or her in some way or form, whether it is a colorful design, a sculpture made from scrap metal, or even everyday household objects.

The most amazing thing about the Museum of Modern Art is its first impression. I have been to the Metropolitan Museum, so I understand art to some degree. For starters, the building looks like any ordinary building in New York City. My parents and I turned down west 53rd street and walked right by it. We were all looking for some enormous, elaborated, architectural building but instead completely passed it. While walking through theses doors that had a sign above them the Museum of Modern Art, I was confused. I thought I was going into the wrong place. Once I walked inside, I had the look of amazement. My jaw dropped and utters the word, “Wow.” If I did not walk into this building I would have never known it was a museum. Now, making this my third time going to the Museum of Modern Art, I still said, “Wow” when I walked inside. This is the perfect example of “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”I could not get over the architectural design of the museum. The inside is completely different than the outside. A person can say whatever they like about art but once they step foot into the Museum of Modern Art that person will change their ideas and thoughts about art completely.

Another great characteristic of the Museum of Modern Art is the way the museum set up the exhibits. Every floor has a different type of art work then the next floor.
