This article list different theories of social work. The different theories discussed are the social cognitive theory which explains that an individual’s behavior is affected society. This theory help client solve issues on an individual level. Conflict theory Phatak (2010), "analyzes the structure of power distribution in a society and seeks to improve social condition of the marginalized sections through unity” (2). Social Constructivist theory is the study of how and individuals’ behavior is affected by beliefs and choices, and feminist social work theory studies the problems when have in society and ways to empower women to take control of her life.
