Course Description:
This ―hands on‖ course provides students with a foundation for
understanding the humanities. Students will be exposed to the
visual arts, architecture, the performing arts, and literature.
Students will also be introduced to the concepts involved in artistic
perception.
Course Objectives:
1. To develop a foundational understanding of contemporary
humanities, including art, music, theater, cinema, and
architecture.
2. To learn the fundamentals of artistic perception and how to
apply them.
3. To receive practical opportunities to observe and experience
works of art.
4. To understand the role of humanities in the every day life of
the working professional.
