While I was researching this topic, I ran into a few blockades that I had to attempt to hurdle. The biggest issue proved to be the fact that my peer, Ryan Hill, had also chosen to use the topic of Paintball as his iSearch topic as well, but I managed to overcome this issue relatively quickly. Another problem that I faced was the fact that my interviews had to all manage to be different, while staying on the same topic of paintball. I knew that all three of my interviews were all involved with each other in one way or another, so I had to do some serious digging in order to find out which interview would fall into which category. I later found out that Adam had some experience in being a ref, Tom had a lot of knowledge on positions could successfully provide me with in depth experiences in paintballing tournaments and which positions fulfilled which roles, and Mike managed to provide me with some juicy details on what it was like to assemble Team Blackout, the difficulties that they faced while trying to gain sponsorships, how to get known, as well as the process of getting into a Tournament. I had discovered a lot of new game variants, more information that I got from my interviews on tournaments and being a ref. I found out so much valuable information on paintballing through the writing of this project that I know that I have a firmer grasp on the sport, the nature of the sport, its difficulties, as well as the history of the sport that many people probably do as professionals. My sole regret for this topic...
