Part 1

After reviewing the paper titled The Dark Knight, I would begin with telling the audience why this film was considered the most popular film in 2008. There is nothing written as to why this movie would be considered for an academy award nomination. The paper lacks the supporting sentences to convince the reader to watch the movie. Secondly, I would look closely in the second paragraph. I would question the outline of this paper, because it does not look as if it has a flow, nor is it written grammatically when listing the director, and actors that played in the movie. I believe the writer would benefit from adding more detail as to how Heath Ledger earned an academy award after he had passed. The writer mentions the actors and then out of the blue chooses this actor with very little facts leading up to even mentioning him or his works that led up to him being chosen. The first couple paragraphs lack enough detail to grab the reader’s attention. The thesis is weak and difficult to follow. The writer again jumps from one topic to the next without giving substance to his persuasion. The writer should not assume that his audience will know the meaning to all of the film making terminology. I really cannot follow this fourth paragraph at all. There also seems to be a reference made to Wikipedia and the review released from them. Although the film received so many box office hits, and became very popular, the writer continues to lack substance and detail...
