After reviewing Ch. 8 and 9 of your text, complete the following table, then respond to the questions that follow:

Carbon dioxide (CO2) | Vehicles, industrial facilities, electric power plants | Poisonous and reduces bloods transportation of oxygen, associated with global warming. Fatigue, headaches, mental impairments, even death at high levels of inhalation. |

Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) | Human-made pollutants | Breaks down molecular oxygen causing more solar UV to reach the earth’s surface. Autoimmune disorders, eye and skin disorders. |

Ground-level ozone (O3) | Chlorine, lead, hydrochloric acid, flourides, etc. | Harmful to people’s health who work or live around chemical factories, incinerators, or other facilities which produce or use these air toxics.
