Six simple letters show on a bland white page that is the face of the most powerful technology company in the world. That is called Google. Google’s successful comes from attracting the best employees by making a fun. Employee can take their pets to work. Employee can play video game when they work. If employee stressed there are massages. Google is also asked employee to have fun during their working. There are a great number of cuisines are offered to employees. And best of all everything is free from employee, but it cost Google a fortune. It is an expensive benefit. The reason for Google is simple. Google want employee working all the time.

This is the culture created in 1988 by two Stanford University graduate students Sergey Brin and Larry Page. They found that a happy work place is good for business (Brin & Page, 1999). Google is not a hierarchy company. Each employee is equally significant part of their achievement today. According to Maslow's needs hierarchy and Herzberg's motivation theory (1997, p.249), Google provides the 3 level of needs, and encourage employees to pursue higher needs, more specifically Google want employee to seek a self-actualization. There is a fact that Google build such loyalty from their employees that many of the employees treat the Google management as a family member. Google let employee to do what they do best. Everyone ware being comfortable share ideas and opinions, so relationship builds on trust. Every engineer get 20% of their time to work on a project they choose. People have the opportunity to try something they interested in. This culture is not only free employee it also motivate employee to do their work more efficiently. Many of their innovations have come from this 20% of time, Such as Gmail, Google map.
