1. Results

a. Yes, we made a printer that met senior managements expectations.

b. In two of the simulations we met he requirement but in the final simulation we didn’t finish on time and finished in 19 weeks.

c. For the most part we met all requirements on time except in the final simulation were we reduced out workload hoping to save money and not go over the budget.

d. No, in every simulation we over spent on the budget.

2. Managerial Action

e. We tried different skill level of employees to see if the project would get done faster, also we tried outsourcing to reduce cost.

f. For the most part I thought it was an easy exercise to complete and was a good group activity.

g. We organized many meetings; at the beginning of the project we had many one-on-one coaching meetings to help train the employees. After the first couple weeks we eliminated the one-on-one coaching. After that we incorporated a few hours of daily standup and status meetings.

h. Our team was mostly in the middle. At points they were bored due to being over staffed, and at points were frustrated because we were nearing the project deadline and were scheduled to miss the deadline. Overall it was hard to keep a happy work force.

i. The team finished the project slower than I had expected. At points we used very qualified employees on the project and gained very little ground on the deadline.

j. If our team got behind schedule we increased the amount of outsourcing we were using and either hired more employees or got more qualified employees.

k. There were no disagreements with my team member, before advancing every week we made sure we both agreed with what decisions we were making and to ensure that there were no disagreements.

3. Analysis
