Riordan Manufacturing is a company in the business of making plastic beverage containers. The organization “Is wholly owned by Riordan Industries, a Fortune 1000 enterprise with revenues in excess of $1 billion” (Apollo Group, Inc. 2012, para. 1), this is an indication the company can be successful becoming global.
Eastern and South Central Asia is the country Riordan Industries has found a facility and retooled, inspected, and is in compliance with all existing licensing for the local regulatory bodies. This assignment will review issues and opportunities, discuss stakeholders, end-state vision and gap analysis.
The conclusion briefly discusses the findings of the above topics with the aid of the tables at the end of the assignment.

Issue and Opportunity Identification
The opportunity exists for Riordan Manufacturing to expand and connect with the culture of Asia. Once a company goes global, four important actions should take place to reduce serious issues from occurring. The company should, “Adapt - tailoring actions to specific cultural contexts, adjust - incorporating socio-technical systems accommodating a new way, access - rising above barriers that hinder globalization, and act - meeting the global challenge by taking action” (Maxwell, 2012, para. 3). There are no guarantees if a company follows these four A’s that they will have no worries, but this quick reference provides a starting point.
Adapt, adjust, access, and act has much to do with another term, cultural diversity. “Culture can affect technology transfer, managerial attitudes, managerial ideology, and even business–government relations.
