• Throughout most of U.S. history in most locations, what race has been the majority? What is the common ancestral background of most members of this group?

Race was invented in the 1500’s however around 1800 Europeans scientists classified race under three types. Caucasian, Negroid, and Mongoloid are the three classifications. Throughout most of the U.S. history Caucasians are the majority race in most locations. Caucasians, meaning European and Western Asian descent. Non-Hispanic European descent made up 65.1% of the population. Under the Non-Hispanic Europeans are many different backgrounds that make up the population. German and Irish are two major backgrounds which make up 16.5% and 12.0%. Italian, Polish, and French make up a little of...
