1. Company Profile

PT Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. is a company engaged in the cement industry. In augurated inGresik on 7 August 1957 by the first President withan installed capacity of 250,000 tons of cement peryear. in July 8, 1991 Semen Gresik listed on the Jakarta and Surabaya Stock Exchange and is the first state to go public by selling 40 million shares to the public. State the composition of shareholders is 73% and the RI 27%.

In the month of September 1995. Company Limited Public Offering I (Right Issue I), which alter the composition of ownership shares to the State of RI 65% and 35% community. Dated 15 September 1995 PT Semen Gresik PT Semen Padang consolidate with and Semen Tonasa, which became known as Semen Gresik Group (SGG).SGG total installed capacity of 8.5 million tons of cement per year.

In conducting the assessment of PT Semen GresikTbk, i perform a top-down fundamental analysis to assess the prospects of the company first needs to be done analysis of the economic factors that affect the performance of the entire company, industry analysis is then performed, and eventually performed analysis of the company to assess whether the securities issued  favorable or not favorable to investors.

In conducting the assessment of PT Semen GresikTbk, i also do financial ratio analysis is to use thefinancial statements of companies and the like
