Some people believe that robots will play an important role in future societies, while others argue that robots might have negative effects on society.

Today my students planned an essay for this topic. The photo below shows the ideas they had in the lesson:

Positives :

* Do manual jobs quickly

* Cheap labor, repetitive, jobs are not boring

* More productive

* Can create free time for people to carry out what they want.

* Make life easier and improve quality of life.

Negatives:

* We will lose skill- become dependent on robots ( Eg. Cooking)

* Less human interaction

* Lazy

* Unemployment will rise- people will be replaced by robots/machine [self service checkouts in supermarket or more factory robots- less worker]

* Lead to bigger problem like poverty or crime.

* Robots are technological innovation, if something gets wrong with their machinery it will result in total loss. so, their efficiency is unreliable as compared to humans.

The discussion about whether or not robots will play an important role in future societies

is a very controversial one. There are People on both sides of the argument,

who have very strong reasons to support their opinion. Some of people say that robots

have lots of drawbacks, while others say that they have many advantages. 

There are several reasons why people think that robots are really important for us .The

most important advantage of robot is that robots help companies to increase the income. As a

result the company will get a high profit. Furthermore, the robot also has an effective working hour. For example, the robot could be operated for 24 hours per day whereas skilled labors can work only for 8-12 hours per day. In...
