What are some examples of the physical and cognitive changes people go through when they enter late adulthood? It might be walking into a room, stopping with a puzzled look on your face, and asking yourself, "What did I come in here for?" I do this all the time it feels like I am losing my mind, I would have to go back sit down, and take a deep breath, and about five mints later it will pop in my head.

Did you expect the age in which you currently are, would be different than it is?

Yes. I thought I would be like my older sister dead; she died at 35 from a drug over dose. We all have someone in our family that is the greatest, she was my greatest I love her very much. She had so many ideas, she was a lot of fun, and all loved her. I was not around when she died I was living in Georgia. I got a call out of the blue, and they said “your sister is dead” I cried in pain for a long time, and even now when I think about her I can’t help, but cry. My other sister, and her were closer in age so they were best friends, she took it the hardest, and she still is not right. She lives with a broken heart still to this day. My sister left a son who is in prison for twenty years; he was only 22 when he got arrested. My family history is very difficult to talk about, but if it will help just one family it would be worth it. Choosing life over death can be a hard decision for some, but I am proof life can be a great choice even living alone in the world. We chose who we want to be in life and we stretch out our hand like we are trying to grab a star, and you don’t stop until you are able to feel the star, impossible maybe, but you will never know if you quit, and you can never ask because you will be the first to try. I give myself examples such as this one because I have to have something to keep me going. I have been in school for a long time and I cannot stop because my boys are watching. I will not let them have any excuse to be less than the best. I have had to climb...
