You spent the past few days exploring the resources available to students at University of Phoenix, and you want to share what you learned with a friend who is interested in enrolling.

Write a 150- to 200-word e-mail to your friend summarizing the resources available to students.

Hey man, what’s up? Just emailing you to let you know that this school has easy to use tools and an online library, so that you don’t have to drive to one. The library tab has links for help in writing, math and you can even do subject searches. You can even submit your paper to get checked for grammar and plagiarism. If you can’t find what you need in the library, you can email the librarian and the librarian will get back with you in 24-48 hrs. They even have online student labs. I mean, I don’t even have to leave my home to go to school, everything is offered online. If I have a question to ask, I just email my instructor and I get all the help I need. Every week you get assigned your assignments and discussion questions which you have six days to complete. You submit all your homework thru email and you have to do at least 2 replies to discussion question for 4 days. If you get everything submitted during the week, you don’t have to worry about studying in the weekend. On top of everything, they cater to military. The academic advisor helps you by submitting all your paper work to the VA.

You asked your facilitator to review your e-mail draft. She liked what you wrote and asked you to write a summary to post in the class forum for the other students to read.
