The Natural Baby Company offers quality organic baby items that support making eco-friendly lifestyle changes (NBC.2011). NBC started out as a diaper store by Kim and Duane Ormsby in 2003 (NBC.2011). Over time, they have expanded their business online, locally and into a whole sale company. NBC supports smaller businesses that promote eco-friendly lifestyle choices (NBC.2011). They create, manufacture and distribute natural baby products internationally.

NBC’s products are aimed towards individuals and families that live a natural, vegan, organic or environmental friendly lifestyles. Americans are leaning towards more eco-friendly options and are becoming more health concise. One factor besides personal ones that would affect a consumer’s decision to buy from NBC, would be their social factors. If a family is in the lower class category, they would not be able to afford these products. One GroVia Snap Conversion Cloth Diaper (NBC.2011) is $5.00. The liners have to be purchased to go inside the diaper cover. NBC sells GroVia Biosoakers, which are biodegradable diaper liners (NBC.2011). You throw these in the trash instead of washing them like traditional cloth diaper liners. A pack of fifty Biosoakers is $20.00. If you add the cost of buying enough diapers to ensure that you have plenty between washes and changes it adds up. These are not a good fit for my family because they are not convenient. These products are marketed towards families in the middle and upper class with environmental friendly lifestyles.
