Buisness Plan for a Market Stall

For my business idea I would like to start a new business that will be a market stall selling clothing, this will vary from women’s and men’s clothing, the clothes will be more premium branded products and will be bought on eBay and sold on the market. I can go to other markets around the area to maximise potential customers.

My aims for the business will be to do it all independently with no other staff helping. I will need to purchase a market stall and pay for a place on the market. I want to be able to do it all my self apart from obviously making the goods because I will be purchasing them from eBay. To do this I would need to do research in how to get a market stall and have to spend time looking on eBay for good deals on clothes and buy them myself. Also I will be looking to keep the cost to a minimum so that I can increase the potential profit.

The unique selling point for my business would be the fact of the items I would be selling branded quality items that will be a lot cheaper than could be bought from shops. The items that I would be selling would not be able to be bought locally so people would appreciate the fact they would be the only person locally to have the item. I have found items on eBay that I can buy that are £20 and in the shops they sell for £65. People will also be able to see what the clothes are actually like in person and try them on for size, this will convince them rather than buying off the internet.

In Weymouth and other areas surrounding it there is not place locally where people can go for the brands and goods that I will be selling, it will attract a younger market because the brands I will be selling will be what are most popular with the majority of people.
