Utopia

Envisioning a utopia is something that has been tried numerous times, by several intelligent individuals, including such great minds as Plato, Thomas More, and Karl Marx. The task that is creating a perfect balance among all things in the world is one that requires juggling the harmony of all beings, the synchronization of ideals, and the priority of fairness to all in all areas. Since I believe that a utopia is relatively impossible to even imagine let alone implement, the utopia that I will describe in this project will be a utopia that I believe will be the best for the greatest amount of people possible.

The geographic and geopolitical premise of my utopia is a society that spans the entire globe. I don’t think there can be a true utopia if it is a society where either people are on the outside looking in or in the inside looking out. This creates feelings of selfishness, hostility, envy, and (not to sound like a tyrant) harmful curiosity. The only viable way to avoid these basic problems is to make a utopia where every human being is a member, regardless of native region, tongue, or geographic condition. I realize that there are several other problems that would arise if we were to have a global community in present conditions, but through the rest of the policies and ideas that I will describe, problems such as integration, prejudice, religion, economic problems, and political problems will be minimized.

When people come together, from different races, religions, cultures, and places, there are bound to be clashes of ideals and practices. What I believe this all stems from is the education of every human being. I don’t think that people are naturally confrontational when it comes to matters of ethnicity, religion, et cetera. Everybody will be educated in schools that teach what I think are the right things to learn in school.
