Introduction: What has Sociology got to do with us or our life? We are Social being and we live in Society, as a Social being we have to learn the patterns of behavior and attitudes that emerge through the life course it means from infancy to old age. These patterns are part of the lifelong process of Socialization. Socialization occurs through human interactions. We learn a great deal from our immediate family members, best friends and teachers. We also learn from people we see on the street, television, internet, films and magazine. Socialization helps us to discover how to behave “properly” and what to expect from others. Socialization provides for the transmission of a culture from one generation to the next .It also shapes our self-images. We know through Socialization how people develop perceptions, feelings and beliefs about themselves. By Socialization we introduce with important agents of Socialization which influenced and socialized us. So, it is a process which each and everyone need to learn.

Socialization: The process by which we learn from others. By socialization we learn lots of things such as: rules and regulations of our own family group, culture, attitudes, skills, knowledge, information, cognitive processes, values, social roles, self-concepts, and behaviors that are generally accepted - or expected - within one or many segments of society.

Socialization has a deep relation with human life cycle because it is a process which circles us. It starts when newborns can hear, see, smell, taste and feel heat, cold and pain, they are constantly orienting themselves to the surroundings world, and this process go on till death. In this process there are so many mediums or agents which greatly influence us in our day to day life and activities. If we simply summarize it then we can say that Socialization socialized us by teaching many things through mediums or agents.
