Health Care Spending

The current status of public health care expenditures pays a significant role in the United States that involves health care spending. With the economy growth rising throughout the years, in 2010, 2.6 trillion spent over ten times the growing market rise to $256 billion spent in the 1980’s. However, the health care cost from recent years has project the slowed relative to the late 1990’s spending and also from the early 2000’s, but still expected to grow rapidly faster than the income over the future (Kaiser EDU,2010).

Health care spend in the economy today as a whole became faster than the American workers gross earnings. It was the United States gross domestic product (GDP) spending face 19% on health care, compared with a 10% to 12% from most significant industrialized nations.

When the state and government agencies, recognize the growing issues of expenditures in health care it creates a greater involvement of national studies for consumers making decisions that require changes in their daily life earnings receiving affordable health care insurance. It also conveys the level of health care spending is predicting little to nothing when it comes to individual consumer and companies. The importance of sustain expenditures of health care; to the economy is a significant policy priority for the process of the United States “in a recession for much of the past decade, resulting in higher unemployment and lower incomes for many Americans”. (Kaiser EDU, 2010) In addition, adding these conditions cause more attention on the cost of health care spending and affordability.

Although, with the many years of growth development spending, (Kaiser EDU, 2010) included, “since 2001, employer- sponsored health coverage for individuals premiums increased by 113%, placing increasing cost burden on employers and workers”.
