Problems at JetBlue Debate

From what I have read in our material tab, chapter 8, the closing case, pages 256 through 257, as well as 258, I believe that there were a lot of problems going on; I also believe that if the managerial as well as the technology departments had of took their customers seriously or even gave them any thought maybe this disaster could have been prevented in 2007, also from what I have read JetBlue has been in business since around 2000, and had never had any problems what so ever until this weather disaster was reported, it is no reason that JetBlue did not have anything in place just in case of an emergency like this came about, JetBlue as well as their high powerful people should have had some kind of backups ready for any emergencies that could have possibly happened like this.

I also believe that JetBlue’s technology team should have been more in control of their phone lines then maybe they would not been bombarded with the customers trying to get through to them, the lines would not have been jammed up, so I believe that JetBlue should have set up some kind of plan for their phone when they set this company up from the beginning , I guess they just never thought nothing like this could or would happen to their business, but I can imagine that the whole company is reeling from all that has happen to them especially since being in business for seven years and then all of a sudden everything that they have worked so hard for was just tarnished with one event.
