Enterpise sytem is a commercial software package that promise integration of all the information flowing trough a company; like financial and accounting information, human resource information, supply chain and customer information. Its estimated that the bussines around the world are now spending $10Billion per year on enterprise system.

But the growing number of failure or out of control project should certainly give a company a break to think. The failure are not on the technical challenges, but the biggest problem are business problem. If a company rushes to install this enterprise system without having a clear understanding of the business implication, the integration will be failed. With a great reward of implemantation this enterprise system, the risk are equally huge.

We fist need to understand the problem they’re designed to solve. Opposite with the implementation of another software system, enterprise system oftenly need for a company bussines fit to the enterprise system.

Many of benefit that we can get from the enterprise system, include the impact of an organization, because of the integration by providing universal, real time acces to operating and financial data, the system allow companies to streamline their management structure, crating flatter, more flexible, and more democratic organization. Some companies want to use their enterprise system to break down hierarchical structures, freeying their people to be more innovative adn more flexible, but some companies dont.
