ASSIGNMENT (30%) –Group Activity

Description of activity

Students will work in groups and contact Human Resource Managers of local and Multinational companies to understand how the HR manager is working as a strategic partner to manage human resources, given the organaisation’s goals and objectives.Students will also collect information from the HR manager regarding the

HR ‘s role today in building competitive organisations.

Students will conduct a short presentation in class to share their understanding and analysis.

Students are expected to present the following:

* Profile of the organisation

* Business Strategy, Goals and Objectives of the organisation

* The profile and functions of the HR manager

* The role of HR manager as a strategic business partner to manage human resources

* The HR’s role today in building competitive organisations.
